Patsy Stevens is originally from West Texas and retired from teaching in 2002 after a 34 year career.
She is a graduate of the University of Houston and received LLD certification from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.
Most of her teaching career was spent teaching second graders, but she taught learning disabled children in a resource room for thirteen years.
She enjoys music, her grandchildren, and preparing lessons for students, teachers, and homeschool moms. Her first husband Hollis Smith, to whom she was married for 28 years, died in a plane crash. She was married to Murray Stevens for 23 years and he passed away in the summer of 2012.
Her son Elton and daughter-in-law Leslie help with the website and Elton hosts some of the online activities on his website Songs of Praise.org.
In Memory of Murray Stevens
"Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God do not forsake me until I declare
Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come."
"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
May all who enter here come to know God, the Father,
His Son, Jesus Christ,
and the Comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Elton is a Christian songwriter. View the song "All of My Heart" here.
