The wife of Po-ti-phar one day
A-bout him told some lies,

On God he still re-lies.
One night the king had troub-ling dreams
'Bout cat-tle and some grain.
God gave him an-swers for the king.
He said there'd be no rain.

The king put Jo-seph then in charge.
They saved for time of need.
The fam-ine was 'ore all the world,
And Jo-seph then did feed

His bro-thers came to buy.
When they learned Jo-seph was in pow'r
They feared that they would die.

Now Jo-seph could have had them killed,
He was the one in charge,
