Dallas Christian, a Blue Ribbon School

Dallas Christian School in Mesquite, Texas has recently been named a
No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School for 2004.

Only 50 private schools were among the 256 U.S. schools who received the award.
Only four private schools in Texas were eligible.

The program recognizes schools which have made great gains
in achievement or whose students achieve at high levels.

The President of the school and the principals went to Washington D.C.
for the award ceremonies, and the flag and award
were later presented to the school by Congressman Jeb Henserling
at a convocation in the Cox Event Center on campus.
