Happy New Year! We look forward to working with you in 2010 to further the education of your students and your families.
We welcome new members to our community. We now have over 300 members in the Garden of Praise community.

My son Elton and I have been working on several new activities for your use.

There are "Who Am I?" activities for Biographies and for Bible Stories. Clues are given and the student must enter the name in the box. If the answer is incorrect there will be five names given and another chance to get the correct answer.

This game is "Who is the Artist?" and the student must choose the artist from a list of five.

This activity is called "Name the Painting" . The student studies the painting and decides which title best describes the picture.

You can print and use Flashcards for the Old Testament , New Testament and for the Biographies

And the very latest is a Jeopardy Game for Bible characters and Famous Leaders. Students can play Jeopardy as practice before taking the online or printed multiple-choice tests.

Members, let's share our teaching ideas. I would like to get some feedback on suggestions for using these new features at Garden of Praise. When you get to your profile page you will see blue tabs. You will be able to post comments which will be public, or you can contact members directly by email if they have selected that option. You can add pictures (see the "instructions" for doing this). You can find friends, view your classes, or view the results of tests you have given. Over 1000 people have signed up to use the online tests.

We would encourage you to add your picture to your profile to make our community a friendly place to visit.
