The study for this latest presidential biography has been interesting. I hope you will find it helpful to your students.
Calvin Coolidge served as President of the United States from 1923-1928. He was a quiet man, out of step with the Roaring 20's. His policies were conservative and he favored minimal federal government involvement. As a result, many labeled him a do-nothing president. It was a time of prosperity, but a prelude to the Great Depression which would follow.
I have relabeled the page of notable black personalities as Black History Studies. Even though Black History Month is over, you may still want to find these resources in one place. You will find all you need to create interesting lessons for your students.
