Peter Patter Nursery Rimes

It is important for children to learn to listen and remember. These rhymes can be used to develop Listening Comprehension in young children. Here are some suggestions for use: Read the rhyme aloud to the child and ask the questions about that rhyme. You may need to go back and reread shorter portions for the child to recall the details.

On each page scroll down to find the listening comprehension questions.

Read an article about Listening Comprehension in this list of preschool training modules.
