God  told  Jonah  to  go  and  preach,
but he  ran  away  from  the  Lord.   He sailed
on a  ship.  There  was  a  great storm.  They
threw Jonah  off  the  ship and  into the  sea.
Then  he was  inside a  huge  fish.  He  prayed.
God  saved him  and  he  went  to  preach  to
the  people  of the  great  city  of   Nineveh.

                    The Birth of Jesus

     An  angel  came  to  Mary.  The  angel  told
 her  that  she  would  give birth  to  a  son. He
was  to  be  given the  name  Jesus.  The  child
was  born in  Bethlehem.  Was  he  in  a  house?
 No,  he  was  in  a  stable  where  animals  are
 kept.  Shepherds  came  to see  him  and  to
worship  him.  Look  at what  God  has  done!
