Dallas Area Landmarks

For a social studies unit, the fourth graders in Mrs. Travis' and Miss Pine's classes
made replicas of local landmarks and wrote reports.

Shown above is The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, home of the Texas Rangers.
It was formerly called The Ballpark of Arlington.
The project on the right side of the photo shows the Dallas Christian School campus in Mesquite, Texas.


Another interesting project was the Reunion Tower and the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dallas.
A Dallas branch library is shown on the right.
