The word decency in the Biblical sense has a negative connotation to it as it is applied in the dress they wore. The negativity was in not dressing to the point where one is displaying oneself. We saw a sense of shame, modesty being used regarding the manner and poise of women in the church. What God addressed to women also applies to men. |
