The Carrell Girls; Vera, Thelma, and Wilma

I guess the first recollection I can remember was about the time I was four years old. That was at the time Thelma was born. As babies then were usually born at home, Wilma and I were sent to a neighbor's for the afternoon. When we returned later in the day, we had a baby sister.

Poor Thelma. I think she always thought we picked on her, and I guess we did. I recall once that Wilma was picking Thelma up by her diaper with a pair of pliers. As you might know, she got too deep and picked up skin. Poor Thelma.
