Multiplication can be fun and easy to learn. This method of teaching the multiplication facts was developed in the 1970's to teach learning disabled students in a resource room setting. The songs were later added.

It has also been used in the regular classroom. Children with various abilities can experience success with it.

When the student has learned everything on the table below, he/she will know all the multiplication facts. Come along, follow us, sing the songs, and learn the

Mul-ti-pli-ca-tion Facts!

We have added some new resources; links to multiplication games, flashcards, and musical programs to help you learn the multiplication facts.

The songs require Real Audio player. The Real One Player only is free.

(Some Mac users cannot hear the songs. One Mac user said that when she changed her browser to Safari (http://www.apple.com/safari/) she was able to hear the music. write to me if you need for me to send you the files. )

We used the musical tables at Maths Machine - they're quite well suited to 7 to 10 year olds and done in a kind of rap style.

I'm using a windows xp pc and have downloaded the Real Player, but am still unable to hear the music on your website. Please let me know if there is something else I need to do to be able to hear the music.

Webmaster's note: If you will write to me I will send the song files to you in an email.
