When Jesus came to Bethsaida a blind man was brought to him for healing. The man's friends asked Jesus to touch him. They had faith that if Jesus just touched the man he would be able to see.
Jesus led him out of the town. To heal him he spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him.
Jesus said, "Do you see anything?"
The man could not see things clearly and said, "I see men as trees walking."
He put his hands on him again and this time he made the man look up.
His sight was restored and he saw every man clearly! Jesus told him, just as he had told the others, "Don't tell it to anyone in the town." What do you think the man did? The Bible doesn't say what he did, but we can guess.
This is the only miracle to which Jesus gives attention the second time. The first time he touched his eyes, the man "saw people as trees walking". The second touch completely restored the man's eyesight
