A Whale Of A Tale

The bible story of Jonah
is a real whale of a tale.
He disobeyed his Lord and God
and was swallowed by a whale.

He then changed his way of thinking
and was sorry he had strayed.
He preached to the people of Ninevah,
and that wicked city was saved.

God has given us commandments too.
For us to keep them is His wish.
But if we don’t, we probably won’t,
be swallowed by a fish.

But if we keep them, and obey
how happy we will be,
when we return to live with Him
for all eternity.
