We are in the grip of winter and anticipating the springtime. Many are hurting financially and we want to offer you teaching materials without cost to help to ease your burden.
I found these great picture puzzles which were published in 1903 in a book by Frank Beard. The King James version of the Bible verses are in rebus form. It is called Picture Puzzles or How to Read the Bible by Symbols.
In addition to the Bible puzzles these pages are useful as a library of pictures. You can search for a particular picture by using the Google search box or you can also do an "Edit - find" on the search pages.
I have updated the Bible CD to include these puzzles as well as the Bible stories in Amharic and Spanish. We also have the 93 stories in English for you to print or make into story cards.
A Personal Note:
We thank God for the blessing of family. Three of our four children live in the Dallas area and we get to see them frequently. We have three grandchildren in college; Brooks, Veronica, and Haley. And Karen, our daughter has returned to school to become a teacher to train nurses. She was a nurse for 15 years and I encouraged her to get a higher degree in order to become a teacher.
